$30 per adult / $10 per student

Unless you are really into slinky hothouse Gypsy jazz, you've probably never heard of Denis Chang. A constant presence on the Montreal jazz scene, guitarist Denis Chang spreads the good news under the watchful eye of Django Reinhardt, father of gypsy jazz.

Chang's formative years were spent alongside the greatest Jazz Manouche guitarists. This young guitarist quickly developed his own style inspired by his biggest influences Bach, Chopin, George Benson and Michael Jackson. Chang's sense of musical openness and his ability to breathe new life into tunes that might be considered an odd fit for "Gypsy Jazz" have earned him the right to push the boundaries.

In addition, he is among the world's most sought-after instructors, with his instructional DVD's a success all over the world.  Watch him perform.

Despite otherworldly chops and a reputation as one of the finest guitarists on the planet, Chang stepped back from the spotlight to accompany guitar virtuoso Lollo Meier during his last Vermont appearance. Chang pals around with the likes of Stochelo Rosenberg, Fapy Lafertin, Ritary Gaguenetti and Rindo Winterstein   Click for more information
