Okanagan Media UPDATE

At Okanagan Media we simply believe there is a better way to sell your home. The days of the "so-called virtual tour" and the dreaded picture slide show is over! 90% of the buyers today use the internet as their starting point. That's a fact! Low quality photos and videos are not tolerated in this current market and sellers expect professional service. Whether you are a realtor or private seller, video is more realistic, more appealing, and can evoke emotion - something still photos and text cannot do. People are very emotional about their home and emotion plays a very big role in the final decision. The 1-2-3 punch is staging your home properly, photographed with top notch photos, and complimented by a high definition walk through video tour! Welcome to the evolution of the real estate video tour! Welcome to Okanagan Media, Real Estate Marketing Refined.

BCSA Provincial Series: Boardercross Doubleheader

The first Snowboard Cross events of the BC Snowboard Provincial Series are happening this weekend at Big White Ski Resort in the TELUS Park.  Big White boasts one of the best-known tracks on the provincial circuit.

The Snowboard Cross event will feature a FIS category for those athletes looking to qualify for Nationals, as well as age groups (male/female) divided into heats with last chance qualifiers ('LCQ').  The LCQ format allows new and up and coming athletes to compete against athletes in their own age group in a Heat situation (4 riders on course).  All athletes in the LCQ format will get a minimum of 2 runs in a Heat situation.

The age groups are:
14 and under
15 to 18
19 and over
30 and over - (new for this event)

Spectators welcome! Come and cheer on Canada's top amateur boardercross racers, or see future 'stars in the making' going head to head in this Olympic sport.

Michael Bernard Fitzgerald

“MBF swaggers with soulful credibility that blends seamlessly with a soft pop persuasion to create a pretty slick sounding album. On any scale, MBF is stirring, emotive and an excellent song writer.” - Fazer, 2010
There’s a lot to love about Michael Bernard Fitzgerald (MBF). His sweet, approachable disposition gives way to an undeniable confidence onstage. He is a man who can break hearts playing solo with an acoustic guitar and loop pedal, and in equal measure, make venues soar with full backing bands, choirs and dancers. From his spontaneous live show song-sampling that name checks the likes of Alanis, TLC, Ke$ha and Flo-rida, right down to his trademark canvas kicks, MBF personifies his music: optimistic, uplifting, honest, daring and full of love. $15 (+ $2.50 tx & sc)     $18 at the door         Doors at 8pm, Show at 9pm

Watch this video of MBF after the jump my friends...Btw, I had never heard his music before and I must say I really enjoy his tone and style. There is a short interview at the end of the video. Quick question/answer thingie. Very good stuff.
